I thought it was a normal chicken

All I can say is that I went to the grocery store and got frozen chicken.  You can find frozen chicken breasts here so I thought maybe this was the same thing.  Forgetting that everyone else had told me you could only get the frozen chicken from one guy in town, I thought frozen chicken is frozen chicken....maybe this was new.  It wasn't a see through bag and let's remember that is was not in English.  So I bought it thawed it and when I opened it to my surprise it was the chicken body.  Oh well.  So I broiled it in a pot to make chicken salad.  After it cooled I began to tear off the meat from the bones in preparation of chopping it up.  Well what I didn't see when I boiled it was that the whole head and feet had been kind of stuck inside of the chicken but still attached.  What I thought was  normal chicken, which is normal here, was not my normal at all!  If you don't know, they eat everything here, head, feet, etc.   When I realized I had my hand on a chicken's foot and claws I kind of freaked out, but then again there are just some things you gotta get over.  And no I didn't throw out the meat.  Although next time I'll be buying the more expensive frozen chicken from that one guy and no 

more attempts at trying new things....lol
