What's a blog?

Okay so I realize that I haven't written a blog in a while and I almost had forgotten what a blog was.  Just kidding.  I really don't have anything truly inspirational, funny or eventful to write about.  Sorry but for the moment the life is boring, but that could always change around the corner.  

I found a spot that I love, it's a me and J spot and nothing can come underneath that shelter...nothing!  I got sick again with a second bout of stomach issues...fun! Finished language classes at the university for the semester, we will start back up in August.  Still teaching the kids, we have another six weeks of school left.  It is rainy season here so the parents keep their school schedule so that the kids actually have something to do rather than sit inside and watch it rain.  We get a new family in a week.  Four new kids, but they won't start school until Sept. which is right around the corner.  

Many of the English speaking opportunities are gone for the moment due to many students leaving and going home for the summer.  Time here is soo very precious.  So very urgent!  

Fourth of July is this coming weekend and I think our team has schemed how we can actually have a grill!!!  We are picking up hotdogs from the capital city and will attempt to make hamburgers too.  Yumm!!!  The only holiday I remember being overseas for was July 4th and it was a rough one.  The 4th has always been such a special time for me with my family and I do love some fireworks.  Although we get those here at 4 AM, there won't be any big shows on the 4th here.  Surprisingly to us Americans, the rest of the world doesn't celebrate our birthday and all its youth.
