Beautiful Feet
Sometimes this job calls for some interesting things. I learned in the last week or so that when your feet step in some water buffalo biz or some just nasty mud....those feet aren't so beautiful anymore.
I have a bit of a stubborn streak, so for quite sometime I have been wearing my Keens out sightseeing and going around. I had been told over and over again to wear my hiking boots, but I hate them. They are clunky, hot and lets face it, not very fashionable at all...lol. Well this past week, while wearing my Keens, we were walking down this tiny muddy trail and I lost my grip and totally stepped in some nasty mud where my shoe proceeded to go down in the mud, a good 5 inches. Luckily for me we rounded the corner and met a man who let me use his water faucet to clean off my shoe. Then the next day, I didn't think we were going hiking again so I wore my chacos and once again not hiking boots. Stubborn. Well, once again I was surprised to find that we were hiking up and down muddy hills and slopes. Once again, nasty mud all over my feet. Two days after mud and buffalo biz, I have submitted to authority and will now be wearing my hiking boots to all outdoor venues....although I will try to sneak in my Keens or Chacos from time to time...when i know for sure we won't be near mud or buffalo biz.
Beautiful...uh muddy, Feet
