Feels like home....

First of all I want to start by thanking you all and apologizing for not being able to personally touch base with you all before leaving, but as always those bags just kept multiplying :). Many of you are supporting not only me financially, but our whole group in going to the nations. Many of you are pryng and I am just so very thankful for what you are doing for the kingdom. No way could I/we do this without each and everyone one of you.

When we first began to talk about this trip, I have to be honest in the fact that I had no desire to go. The flying, the travel, the culture, it was just all too overwhelming for me to think about...and in many ways is still overwhelming. I had grieved so much over closing the door and to even begin to think about opening my heart once again to EA was just too hurtful. But, the Father had other plans, as He usually does. Once again He has called...and made that calling evident to me through many of you. It's still going to be hard, but this isn't about me, its about His plan in taking the gspl to the nations. I'm in awe that I get to be a tiny part of that plan!

So at 10:24 on the night before we leave, with bags packed, and nerves on end, I'm realizing that this part of the journey never changes. I'm somewhat excited, and somewhat anxious. I know that once I arrive on the ground I'll probably cry, hug the first Asian person I see(completely freaking them out by the way), and immediately look for a noodle shop leaving the guys behind in a trail of dust, lol. In many ways, it will feel like coming home, and thats the part I'm excited about most.

This journey however isn't about me. Its about being obedient to the Father and living for His Glory. Showing the world His son and making Him famous. You oh L are the famous one!!!

So below we've put together some pry or popcorn requests for this trip. There four of us total. I won't post names, for security reasons, just initials. Many of you have asked if we will be going back to the same place, and yes, we will. We will be working with the Green Whos as well. If you don't know the Green Whos are a unreached people group, the same group I worked with previously. I'm especially excited to return to see our JieJie or big sister who is not only GW but a blver.

Thank you for popping. The pryrs of His children are so powerful...do not cease to pop popcorn for us.

SRS: Pop that we would be an encouragement to M's. Ask that we would be able to share the Gspl with those we come in contact with and that we would bring glory to the Father.

RKH: Ask that I would have an obedient heart that seeks after and follows G's will both during this trip and upon my return home. Pop that my life will be a reflection of the love of JC in Asia and wherever I may be that G may be glorified and that my witness will be stronger than ever. Ask the Father that He would open the hearts of the people group we are being with and that they may believe and that He would transform the hearts of our team to love Him and serve Him with radical abandonment. Finally, Ask that my wife, B for G to keep her safe, happy, and stress free while she is left alone at home.

WJS: For safety in travel and for all the connections and transfers to go smoothly. For the eyes of authorities to be blinded to our purpose. Pop that my visits with our two Green Who sisters would go well. That these ladies would be motivated to grow in their relationships with Him. Ask Father that I would be an encouragement to those around me and that I would give 110% all of the time. To focus on kingdom work and not my own personal desires or wants. Finally that the people of EAsia would have their hearts, eyes, and ears open to the gspl of JC. That the Light would shine through their dark world.

JLS: Pop that I would remember its not about me but about my Father and His business. That I would be completely compassionate to the needs of the people. And ask Father for energy for myself and strength to do what G would have me to do.
